Neena Visits MPD Group in Willenhall

The Midland Pressure Diecasting Group located in Ashmore Lake Way, Willenhall, was the venue for Neena’s latest visit and has shown her and others that manufacturing in our area continues to be of great importance.

Managing Director Mr Ash Suman took the time to shown West Midlands Labour MEP Neena Gill around the whole site , which includes 25 diecasting machines, a fully equipped machine shop and an in house tool room all operating from a 50,000sqft premises.

After speaking to some members of the 50 strong workforce. Neena said, “The hard work and ingenuity shown by this local manufacturer have shown that it is still possible to have West Midland manufacturers competing at a global level. It really does warm the heart to see supposedly ‘metal bashing’ industries continue to thrive in the Black Country.”

MD Mr Ash Suman, said of the visit, “ Neena Gill is always welcome at my factory, as she has always offered her support, and I am grateful for that. Trading in the current climate continues to be difficult, but if anywhere in the Country can overcome that, then it is here in the Black Country. The dedication and knowledge of my workforce ,drives me even harder to grow the company.”
